In 2016, I took a leap of faith and decided to study abroad in Austria. I chose Austria, and Krems specifically so I could be central enough to travel as much (and as cheaply) as possible.
I ventured off to study in Krems, a small river town in lower Austria, an hour outside of Vienna. It was an eye opening and inspiring adventure. I found comfort in the uncomfortable and challenged myself to be open minded with every new experience. To be surrounded with likeminded individuals from around the world inspired me to continue down this path. I’m still learning the benefits of living in the moment, with less stress on what if and the negatives.
