My mind is loud and busy, so I’m happy to share it.
I’ve had an interesting year (thus far) working through mental health challenges, and I found writing to be a pretty powerful form of therapy. I decided to play around with my blog a bit this summer, and change it from being solely about travelling in Europe (formerly known as LarrysEuroTour) to my day to day and my travel aspirations. I’m excited to get started!
I’m a Wilfrid Laurier University alum, where I double majored in Communication Studies and Cultural Studies. Additionally, I studied Business at IMC Krems in Austria in 2016. Now, I am pursuing my Masters of Digital Media at Ryerson University in downtown Toronto. I love learning- I really do. Exploring education beyond the four traditional walls of a classroom is truly life altering, and I encourage everyone to give it a try and find comfort in the uncomfortable.
This summer, I’ve been interning at an advertising agency downtown and it has been an amazing experience. Making the jump from the corporate world to agency life has definitely been an adjustment, but so much fun! I’ve learned a lot in the short months I have been here for, moving around in different departments. It’s a really lively and exciting atmosphere, and I’m so thankful for so many learning opportunities.
But, I’m ready for the next chapter. I’m looking forward to going back to school and being immersed in a new learning environment.
